At the time of the marriage rituals a local advocate, Suren Banerjee, comes with a lady who claims that she herself is Kalpana and that Sudhangshu is committing bigamy. Sudhangsu strongly denies and claims that she is an imposter. In the meantime a mysterious person name Samadder invaded Sudhangsu's house and stole some ornaments of the deceased Kalpana.

The film is based around a middle-class man, Rajesh (Raj) living with his sister. He is in love with a young woman, and he intends to marry her once he has found a potential husband to take care of his sister. However, one day the sister is raped and murdered and the police are unable to find any clues and it is left to Rajesh to find the murderers and avenge her death. He traces the murderer and kills him, and is therefore now on the run from the police himself. Rajesh abducts a child as a hostage and seeks refuge in a house only to later learn that the child is the son of his former lover, who is now married to a Police Inspector. Rajesh is torn in two - whether to release the child, or to use him to make an escape.

Then a young man, Prince Chandrashekar from Johanneburg, South Africa, surfaces, claims he is a multi-millionaire, and would like to go into business with Digvijay Singh. This Prince also meets with Digvijay's sister and friend, Renuka, and Manju respectively and has an on-going affair with both at the same time. Digvijay is not happy with what's going on, and he asks his men to investigate the background of this Prince, and what they find will change Digvijay's life forever.
