New Japan returns to Fukuoka for the annual Wrestling Dontaku event! This time, it will be held as a two night event, which we will likely see a defense of the IWGP Intercontinental Championship and the IWGP Heavyweight Championship. The first Night will take place on May 3 and the second Night will be on May 4th.

New Japan Pro Wrestling will be making its return to Ryogoku Sumo Hall on April 4th, 2021 for Sakura Genesis, an event that was once an annual fixture of the New Japan calendar. Due to both their trip to the US in 2019 and the Coronavirus Pandemic in 2020, this will be the first time in three years that this event will take place. As the beloved cherry blossoms fall at roughly 5 centimeters per second outside of the Sumo Hall, inside of it will be one of the most controversial shows in New Japan’s history as the first-ever IWGP World Heavyweight Championship defense will take place in the main event as Will Ospreay challenges Kota Ibushi.

NJPW 45th Anniversary Event took place on March 6, 2017 from the Ota City General Gymnasium in Tokyo, Japan. NJPW Anniversary Event celebrates the anniversary of the first event held by NJPW on March 6, 1972. The main event for the 45th Anniversary show was Kazuchika Okada taking on Tiger Mask W.

Wrestle Kingdom 14 Night 2 in Tokyo Dome was a professional wrestling pay-per-view (PPV) event produced by New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW). The event took place on January 5, 2020, at the Tokyo Dome, in Tokyo, Japan. It was the 29th January 4 Tokyo Dome Show and it was also the first time the event was held over two days, instead of taking place solely on January 4. The event also saw the retirement match of Japanese wrestling legend Jyushin Thunder Liger.

Dominion 6.11 in Osaka-jo Hall was a professional wrestling event promoted by New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW). The event took place on June 11, 2017, in Osaka, Osaka, at the Osaka-jō Hall and was the ninth event under the Dominion name and third in a row to take place at the Osaka-jō Hall.

Wrestling Dontaku 2017 was a professional wrestling event promoted by New Japan Pro Wrestling (NJPW). The event took place on May 3, 2017, in Fukuoka, Fukuoka at Fukuoka Kokusai Center and featured ten matches, three of which were contested for championships. The show was headlined by Kazuchika Okada defending the IWGP Heavyweight Championship against Bad Luck Fale. This was the fourteenth event under the Wrestling Dontaku name.

Power Struggle (2018) was a professional wrestling event promoted by New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW). It took place on November 3, 2018, in Osaka, Osaka, at the Osaka Prefectural Gymnasium. It was the eighth event under the Power Struggle name. Osaka favorites, Los Ingobernables de Japon, come into Power Struggle with three prominent matches, Chris Jericho has his first match since Dominion and the Super Jr. Tag League winners will be decided. Also, Kenny Omega makes his return, the RPW British Heavyweight Championship is featured and Taichi is set out for his first defense.

The night after the climactic Wrestle Kingdom 15 at the Tokyo Dome, New Japan Pro Wrestling kicked off their first round of feuds for 2021 at New Year Dash!! at Tokyo Dome City Hall. The show wasn’t as dramatic as some NYDs of the past, but there were a couple of matches worth watching and the beginnings of some very promising angles, including one for one of the best new matches NJPW could do right now.

The fourth night of the 29th edition of the G1 Climax featuring B Block matches. Taking place at the Hokkaido Prefectural Sports Center in Hokkaido, the show is headlined by Taichi vs. Tetsuya Naito.

The ninth night of the 29th edition of the G1 Climax featuring A Block matches. Taking place at the Aichi Prefectural Gymnasium in Aichi, the show is headlined by Kazuchika Okada vs. KENTA.
