The film starts off very interestingly when Indhu(Shobhana), the daughter of the state chief minister (Nedumudi Venu) calls Sagar to save her husband Manu (Manoj K Jayan) from the clutches of Rozario brothers.

Seconds is a Malayalam thriller film directed by Aneesh Upasana. The film stars Jayasurya, Aparna Nair, Vinay Forrt, Ajay Nataraj, Ambika Mohan, Riyaz Khan, Anusree Nair, Salim Kumar, Shankar Ramakrishnan and Vinayakan in prominent roles. Released on December 5, 2014. The film is told in a non linear format is a multi narrative that revolves around a murder that happens in the elevator of a plush city apartment. Four unrelated persons of which one was a ruffian were in the lift of which two were left seriously injured and one, dead. The police officer on investigation, Bimal Vaas then asks for the whereabouts of the persons who were in the lift and we are also given the glimpses of each of their lives on the day of the fatal incident.

Jacob, a manager at a big financial firm, finds himself behind bars when he tries to save the woman he loves from being involved in a criminal case. The only way for him to survive and to escape was to break out of prison. How he plans and executes the prison break forms the crux of the movie.

As the long forgotten race is re-opened it brings a family, old-time friends and an entire colony of the downtrodden back together and the search for a new champion begins.
