Nasrani takes us to the Kottayam belt, where rich rubber planters and estate owners live. One such rich planter is David John Kottarathil, popularly known as DK. DK spends most of his time at the Cosmo Club, where he is the secretary too. He has his say over all spheres of human activity. He is respected and feared too.

Jayaraman (Mohanlal) is born as a blind man but with heightened senses of smell, sound and touch. He is trained in the martial art of Kalaripayattu. He works as an elevator operator in an apartment where many reputed people live. One day he happens to encounter a murder in a flat. The killer escapes and Jayaraman is charged with the murder. To prove his innocence to the law, Jayaraman must now find and kill the true murderer.

After many years two mariners return to homeland with the hope of a new beginning, little did they know about a disaster that would change their destiny.

Valluvanar is an upright political leader in Tamil Nadu much respected for his honesty and uprightness. The film juggles between reality and fiction, where Theepori, the fictitious father image of Kamban advises him to fall in love. The rest of the story is about the emotional conflict between her career and love.

He has a special relationship with Dr. Priya (Vimala Raman), but is also in love with Leena (Samvrutha Sunil), the star contestant in the popular music reality show. Manu later in search of a job goes to an Agraharam to take care of a mentally ill patient and a girl from the Agraharam, Bhama (Sruthi Lakshmi) falls in love with him. Now the three girls want to marry Manu but none of their parents want to have Manu as son-in-law. The rest of the movie is about the trouble Manu has to take when the three meet and whom does he marry.

The film tells the story of a household where several murders have happened. The plot picks up from a point many years after the killings, and what happens next.
