Holi is a romantic love story movie in which, Kiran (Uday Kiran) works in a software company. Sandhya (Richa Pallod), an educated belle from a village, joins in the same company as s/w engineer. Kiran falls in love with Sandhya. On the day of Holi, Kiran proposes to Sandhya. She responds to him by saying that she does not believe in a thing called love. She also says that if he is interested he can get his parents speak to her parents and fix up the marriage. But Kiran wants to date her before marriage. But Sandhya believes in the concept of love after marriage. Kiran is angry with Sandhya for her refusal. One day she realizes the preciousness of love and by then her parents fixes her marriage with an NRI. rest of the story is about how all ends well.

Anu (Baby Zeeba) and Chanti (Master Anand Vardhan) are childhood friends at Araku Valley. Anu is a daughter of a wealthy government official and Chanti is the son of a poor widow. Anu leaves Chanti at the age of 8 when her parents shift to Vizag. Later on Chanti loses his mother. Mohan Rao (Chandra Mohan) gets hold of Chanti renames him as Venu and adapts him. Anu (Reema Sen) and Venu (Uday Kiran) grows up at their respective places. Anu finishes her higher studies in Malaysia and returns. Venu does also single-mindedly waits for Anu. Anu starts writing a serial named 'Manasanta Nuvve', which contains her live story, in Swaty magazine hoping that Chanti would read it comes back to her. But she keeps her pen name as Renu, so that her anonymity could be protected (in the serial the heroine's name is Anu and hero's name is Chanti).

Madhav happens to see Amrutha one fine day and falls in love with her. …… If I start telling the relationships and complexity of the relations, you would complain to me after watching the film that I deprived you of enjoying the happenings on the screen. Valluvanar is an upright political leader in Tamil Nadu much respected for his honesty and uprightness. And he refuses to compromise on this trait even when his only son Kamban finds himself in jail for no fault of his. The opposition party takes advantage of the situation and bails out Kamban, who joins this party much to his father's embarrassment. The media laps it up sensationalizing it further. Then Kamban decides to leave the country until things cool down. Only his mother Vasuki with whom he is close is aware of this plan. Kamban arrives at Sri Lanka where he be-friend's Banerjee, a Bengali and stays with him. One day he finds a Tamil book on the beach which he traces to Shilpa the owner of the book, who is a college student preparing for the civil services examination. The film juggles between reality and fiction, where Theepori, the fictitious father image of Kamban advises him to fall in love. The rest of the story is about the emotional conflict between her career and love.

Ravi (Uday Kiran) is the son of a multimillionaire in Hyderabad. Vasundhara (Anita), is the daughter of a milk supplier. Ravi and Vasundhara both study in the same college. The film starts with Vasundhara showing hatred towards Ravi, as he is a sportsman who is not good in his studies. Over a period of time, her hatred turns into love. Finally, they both fall in love, but their parents do not agree with their marriage. Parents plan to avoid the marriage by giving the couple a clause that they should not meet each other for one year. If their love remains even after one year then their parents would agree to let them marry. Father of Ravi puts him under house arrest in Mumbai. While Vasundhara's father takes her to his hometown and arranges a forced marriage. However, both Ravi and Vasundhara manage to escape. The rest of the story is about how the pair unites against all odds.
