Swedish efficiency researchers come to Norway for a study of Norwegian men, to optimize their use of their kitchen. Folke Nilsson (Tomas Norström) is assigned to study the habits of Isak Bjørvik (Joachim Calmeyer). By the rules of the research institute, Folke has to sit on an umpire's chair in Isak's kitchen and observe him from there, but never talk to him. Isak stops using his kitchen and observes Folke through a hole in the ceiling instead. However, the two lonely men slowly overcome the initial post-war Norwegian-Swede distrust and become friends.

Jan-E looks forward to the great legacy of his father, and prepares for a new life in luxury. It's not as he imagined. Large-Erik was not at all the Sven-E cheated in his brothers that he was, and Jan-E becomes so furious about the lies that he leaves home. When everything collapsed, and it is darkest in the Black Lien, however, occurs which turns piste guards life to an entirely different direction. This while a bloodthirsty beast sneaking around in the darkness outside. The three brothers face greater trials than ever before.

He wants Sickan to perform a burglary in Switzerland, in order to retrieve the famous Bedford Diamonds. Sickan does this but is fooled by Wall-Enberg and nearly gets caught. When he returns to Sweden and re-unites with his old gang members, he's set on revenge, both physically and psychologically...

Adapted from a series of short stories by Norwegian author Levi Henriksen, Bent Hamers Home for Christmas weaves together the lives of people struggling to find their way home on a Christmas Eve, beneath the colors of the Northern Lights. The plot unfolds during a few afternoon hours on Christmas Eve. The individual stories, which at times intertwine, are set in the small town Skogli. The characters in the stories cover a great range in age and life situations, representing both reconciliation with their own lives and strong frustration. Some show the will to understand and do something about their lives, while others have given up. Deeply tragic and melancholy aspects are mixed with humour and rather frivolous solutions.

The Blueberry War is an underdog story about some underprivileged berry pickers getting cheated off their money, taking justice into their own hands. Two young Polish guys take the initiative to take the berries back and under their run away trough the rural Sweden they meet a country that is much different from the official picture. This is a story on two levels. On the upper level there is illegal hunting, intrigues and political dribbling with stocks, fake deal and plans how to get the fingers on a 5 million Euro subsidy. On the lower level in the story, we have the berry pickers who, allied with some of the locals, start the quest of finding both the treasure, the kingdom and getting a delightful revenge. And all that's available is a ton of rotten blueberries.
