When Michael McCann is thrown over by the woman he loves, he becomes something of a misanthrope and a miser, spending all of his spare money on collectible gold coins. Four friends (Stephen Baldwin, Michael Rooker, Luis Guzman and David Herman) who are misfits in the New York City social scene have trouble meeting available women. They come up with the idea of opening a trendy restaurant -- funding their new venture with the help of a local gangster -- in hopes of attracting a large female clientele. It's one comedy situation after another as they stumble through their various misadventures.

Buzz is untied by Maya, an ex-girlfriend who's now a TV reporter in search of a story. They pick up Turk's trail and set out to rescue Betty.

A timid accountant tries to earn his living as a rather unsuccessful hitman, until one stormy night he pulls a trigger for the first time and becomes a target for the vengeful mafia boss, murderous gangsters, trigger-happy cops and a gorgeous blonde from hell – and if he’s not careful his own wife might catch wind of his double life too.
