The best Singamuthu’s romance movies

A thug, with his partners, is chosen to work for a criminal gang and he becomes the left-hand man of the leader. The leader declares a war against another criminal and the thug has to protect him despite losing his friends.

Sakthivel (R. Sarath Kumar) is the leader of his village and is adored by the people. His only brother is Selvam (Vikram) who, after completing his education in Singapore, returns to the hamlet. Both Sakthivel and his wife Lakshmi (Khushboo) are very fond of Selvam and want him to get married and live happily. Selvam is keen on marrying a girl he has seen in his dream. Sakthivel is prepared to go anywhere to find the girl. Selvam actually comes across the photograph of his dream girl Devayani (Devayani) in a TV advertisement and discovers that she is an actress . A film crew lands in the village for shooting, and Devayani, as she is called in the film too, is in the group. Sakthivel approaches her with his brother's proposal, but she insults him.

A young man moves to his hometown; here he falls in love with the village head's daughter. The village head learns about this and he has the girl abducted; if the young man tries to rescue her, his parent's life will be at stake.

Ganesh comes to Chennai to pursue his studies. A group of goons are on his pursuit. A kind hearted Ganesh is eventually forced to go back to his old ways to fight them and restore order.

Ullasam revolves around around two father and sons. Raghuvaran was a smuggler,who lives in a house nerab s.p.balasubramaniam, father of ajith. In college days, Vikram becomes a singer, while Ajith studying in the same college turns out to be a local dada, who helps Raghuvaran in his business. In the meanwhile, Ajith and Vikram love the same...

In the village Ammapatti, Maruthu Pandi is a coracle operator in day and the village protector at night. The villagers give him food in exchange of his work. Maruthu Pandi has a mentally ill sister Lakshmi who is pregnant and he takes care of Lakshmi like a mother. Kanagavalli, a dancer, slowly falls in love with Maruthu Pandi. Kanagavalli is in fact a police officer who wants to arrest Maruthu Pandi. Maruthu Pandi's real name is Manickam, and after a revealed flashback, police team come to Ammapatti to arrest Manickam. What transpires later forms the crux of the story.

Chellappa (Jayaram), an orphan, runs a photo studio in deficit with his friends (Chinni Jayanth and Vadivelu). Mary (Bhanupriya) comes to his village to learn singing to a guru (Kalyan Kumar) and she helps her guru's family in many ways. Kannan (Arjun Sarja), her guru's son, is supposed to be in the city. Chellappa falls in love with Mary and he proposes to marry her. Mary reveals that she was married and she tells him her past. Her real name was Gayatri, she was a rich girl and she was in love with Kannan. Kannan had lot of responsibility and had to help his poor family. Gayatri's guardian (Jaishankar) accepted for their marriage but Vasanth (S. N. Vasanth), his son, also wanted to marry her and sent henchmen to kill him. Kannan died at Gayatri's birthday party where her guardian had arranged for their engagement after Gayatri promised to help his family. Vasanth's father sent his son to jail and he apologized to Gayatri. She went to her friend Mary's village instead of her.

Murugesan lives a life with no care in the world. Beats people up, sells his grandfather's land and incurs so much of his father's wrath that he's prophesied to meet a horrible end.
