Paranormal Activity: Tokyo Night

This Japan production spins-off the story of the first Paranormal Activity film by having the ghost from the first film follow a student back to her homeland after a visit to San Diego where she is tragically injured during a car accident. Back home in Japan, she is cared for by her brother, Koichi, who begins to suspect that something is amiss when his sister's wheelchair begins to move on its own. From there, the picture takes on the usual candid cam shocks of the series. Tokyo Night is notable for being an official part of the franchise (it was released in Japan two days before Paranormal Activity 2's release in the States), even though the U.S. has yet to see an official release.

On further investigation, the amateur sleuths discover that nobody stays in Kubo’s building for long, and many previous tenants have died in mysterious and gruesome circumstances. It’s clear that the noises barely scratch the surface of the malevolent forces at work.

Invisible Monster
Random street attacks have been occurring in a local industrial city. No similarities among the victims, no clues for a motive or the culprit's next move except for sightings of a large figure in a raincoat. On her way home, Nami encounters an attack in progess. She sees the killer eye to eye and is attacked. Tsukishima saves her in a nick of time which brings them closer. In the same city, Detective Shintaro Matsuyama is after the killer responsible for the attacks. He sees a similarity to an unsolved street attack in which his daughter was killer 15 years ago. The city becomes depressed as people are afraid of the attacks and those who try to bring justice. Nami's life grows gloomy along with her symptoms of PTSD, despite falling for Tsukishima. Then she discovers his past. Shintaro becomes emotional with revenge and begins to derail from his police work. The killer is on the loose again.

Kuroto (Tsubasa Sakiyama), Yuya (Keisuke Ueda) and Hina (Moga Mogami) take the case and begin to investigate the thugs, but they find something unexpected.
