A satirical comedy about a poor farmer who, while plowing his field, accidentally uncovers an ancient burial chamber loaded with gold artifacts. Realizing that the trove would somehow liberate him from his bumpkin existence, he brings pieces of it to a jeweler in the city.

Ali has to be a doctor according to his mother's will, so he participates for several consecutive years at the entrance exam, but he fails each year; until he decides to find a way escaping from this and marrying his beloved girl. He pretends to be a lunatic. This trick stops the issue of becoming a doctor but causes the girl's father to oppose Ali marrying his daughter. Ali is disappointed and meets a woman who is loved by his father too. His father drives away Ali in order to marry the woman himself. After some events, Ali marries the girl he loves and they begin a new life together.

The Farman (Bahman Mofid), which is fond of dancing by the name of Aqdas (Shahnaz Tehrani). After knowing that his friend Gholam Zangi (Mohammad Reza Fazeli) is imprisoned at Ahvaz Prison, he visits him. The slave is convinced by the command that he has commanded him, but the command after knowing that Shirin is the same slave candidate holds the marriage ceremony and abandons his life with the Aqdas .
