In 2005, rock legend Paul McCartney crossed America with his record-breaking, sold-out US tour. Better than a front-row seat, this feature-length concert film takes viewers onto this stage and beyond, capturing Paul's out-of-this-world performance.

In 2002, a 60-year old McCartney refocused the attention on his musicianship, staging a massive live concert in Cleveland, Ohio. The superstar, who went on to form the popular rock group Wings and had several hit records as a solo artist, performs a track list that covers all three phases of his long and prolific career, including the hits "Eleanor Rigby," "Live And Let Die," "Blackbird," "The Long And Winding Road," and "Mother Nature's Son." In addition to the 30 tunes that McCartney enthusiastically performs, seemingly immune to the ravages of time and aging, BACK IN THE U.S.A LIVE also includes candid behind-the-scenes footage of the rocker backstage and on the road.

Almost exactly 11 years to the day since McCartney last embarked on a run of shows in Japan during the Driving World Tour, November 2013 saw him bring his Out There! Tour to Japan to play six shows in Osaka, Fukuoka and Tokyo. The news was announced on 16 July 2013 on his official website. The first date was taken place in Osaka on 11 November and the tour was continuing at the Fukuoka Dome on 15 November. A run of shows at the Tokyo Dome followed, taking place on 18, 19, 21 November.

For the Russian audience, McCartney's appearance in Moscow is little short of a miracle. The Beatles were banned for decades by the Soviet government, which regarded their music as the epitome of Western decadence and propaganda, and the fans' only access to the group was through the occasional photo or black market album. Their reaction to his 2003 visit is a mixture of frenzy and rapture.

On April 28 2015 Paul McCartney returned to the Budokan for a special performance as part of his “Out There Japan” tour.
