Not so long ago, Ronny Tersago and his gang where at the top of the Flemish showbiz as Clown Norry and Co.. Their heyday are over. Nowadays they are working overtime at night as burglars. Ronny's son Wesley was kicked out of the Amsterdam film school, filming their passionate performances and crimes, their nocturnal excesses and turbulent private life. It seemed it was going downhillwith for the gang when suddenly they hit hte jackpot. And then the problems really start..

Twenty years ago, crooks John and Ron were able to hide the diamond they stole in young Gert's football at the Old Castle Inn owned by Marlène's family, just before being arrested. Today, the crooks have escaped and want the loot back. But a contractor has got permission to tear down the ruined inn and build an apartment building on the site, unless it's completely repaired within a week. When Marlène calls him, Gert abandons his planned week of holiday at sea to do the daunting job, helped by the mayor, Van Leemhuyzen and Octaaf. The Tersago family isn't your average family business: clowns by day, thieves by night. They get arrested following a robbery homicide in a villa in Brasschaat, but let off for lack of evidence, except for son Wesley. Wesley's sister Amber decides to finish Wesley's wacky reality movie herself. Father Ronny wants to get out of organized crime and launder the stolen money with the production of a musical. Ronny and his companion Lou get approached by two police inspectors entirely convinced of their involvement with the robbery homicide. The stolen money is rumored to belong to a powerful Russian drug lord. The Tersago's now realize their lives are in danger. An armed man slips into the theater during the premiere of the musical while son Wesley plans an escape from prison.
