This is the independent film history of Pink Floyd. The controversial twists and turns of the Floyd story is told in a unique series of interviews featuring Roger Waters, David Gilmour, Nick Mason and the late Richard Wright. The recollections of the band are compared and contrasted the views of the insiders who worked with Pink Floyd in the studio and on the road.

On 2 July 2005 Pink Floyd performed at the London Live 8 concert with Roger Waters rejoining David Gilmour, Nick Mason and Richard Wright. It was the quartet's first performance together in over 24 years — the band's last show with Waters was at Earls Court in London on 17 June 1981.

A live recording taken from the band's sold out shows at the legendary London venue in May 2019. Receiving huge acclaim throughout the tour, this captures the true essence of a band reviving the music that had rarely featured in Pink Floyd's live shows since their early days, some of which never played at all by them live.

Filmed at Long Island’s Nassau Coliseum in August 1988 and directed by Wayne Isham, the Grammy Award nominated Delicate Sound Of Thunder comes to cinemas for the first time in this global event release. This 2020 version is sourced directly from over 100 cans of original 35mm negatives, painstakingly restored and transferred to 4K, and completely re-edited by Benny Trickett from the restored and upgraded footage, under the creative direction of Aubrey Powell/Hipgnosis. Similarly, the sound was completely remixed from the original multitrack tapes by Pink Floyd’s David Gilmour, with longtime Pink Floyd engineer Andy Jackson, assisted by Damon Iddins. It has since been heralded as the "best British rock concert of all time". The breathtaking performing line-up was drawn entirely from acts who had been recipients of the prestigious Sliver Clef Award presented annually by Nordoff-Robbins Music Therapy for outstanding services to the British Music Industry. All the artists gave their time and performances for free in order to support the charity and this 20th Anniversary deluxe edition will continue to raise funds so that they can continue their invaluable work.
