The story starts with a conflict between two villages Ramapuram and Raghavapuram for Lord Rama statues. In that conflict, Raja's father who is the president of Ramapuram has been killed by Govindaiah brother-Subbaramaiah. Taking into that mind Raja's elder brother Rangayya kills Subbaramaiah and is sentenced to jail. After few years, Raja falls in love with one of his colleague in college without knowing that she is Subbaramayya's daughter, her name is Vara Laxmi. But their love was accepted neither by Laxmi's brother Hari nor by Govindayya. The rest of the film is all about how Raja struggles to marry Lakshmi with creating the relationship between both the families.

Goppinti Alludu is a family based movie in which, Murali Manohar(Balakrishna) is son of the industrialist SVR(SPB). He arrives India from Switzerland after finishing his graduation. Venkataramaiah (Gummadi) is a respectable person in the society, who runs a timber business. He does not take up any responsibility, neither does he earn anything. Accidentally, he meets Kavita (Vijayashanti), who works as a dance teacher in a school. They both are very opposite to each other. Sivaram (Satyanarayana) is an opponent businessman to Venkataramaiah, who once was a worker under Venkataramaiah, and always had quarrels with Venkataramaiah and Anand. After some time, Kavitha understands Anand's love, but his family members did not agree to their marriage, so Anand leaves the house and marries Kavitha. Meanwhile, Sivaram throws Venkataramaiah into heavy debts, so entire property comes to auction. The remaining children leave Venkataramaiah alone, which leads to his heart attack and his wife's death. Finally, Anand comes to their rescue and how he keeps up his parents prestige and honor, forms the rest of the story.

The story begins with a swashbuckling thief, Surendra (Nandamuri Balakrishna), also a master of disguise, who always targets Vidhatha (Charan Raj), dictator of the city and he is being tracked down by SP Indrani (Sharada), an efficient Police officer. Surendra contracts a multi-speciality hospital for work free of cost with all this money. Whether Surendra and Indrani will be able take revenge against Vidhatha, and he will be able complete the hospital forms the rest of the story.

Sanjeevi (Akkineni Nageswara Rao) and Archana (Jayasudha), a divorced couple meet just because of Sanjeevi's shares in Archana's company. Vijay (N. T. Rama Rao), Anand (Murali Mohan), and Naveen (Nandamuri Balakrishna) are three brothers. On their father Venu Gopal's (A. V. M. Rajan) birthday, their mother Lakshmi (Pushpalata) taught them a song titled Aanaati Hrudayala which they held dearly to their hearts. As fate may have it, one day, Venu Gopal witnessed a robbery by Parasuram (Prabhakar Reddy) and his henchmen. To protect their identity, Parasuram decided to kill Venu Gopal before he could go to the police. So one night, he and his men storm into their house and kill both their parents. Vijay & Anand witness the act and flee. They make their way to a passing train, where Anand is separated from Vijay.
