Gleason spends his formative years entering amateur contests, performing in sleazy night spots. Along the way, he steals gags from the best comics in town and finds love with Genevieve, a dancer whom he marries. Brash, arrogant, and egotistical, he alienates his directors and the man who discovers him. Surviving Gilligan's Island

Surviving Gilligan's Island
7.3/10

It was as funny and as cartoonish as the series with three survivors (Gilligan, Mary-Anne, and the Professor) telling their favorite anecdotes and having some of them acted out. The host segments were wonderful, and the flashbacks were done very well by actors who looked similar to the castaways.
