Avtar Singh's directorial comic drama starring Kavita Kaushik and Karamjeet Anmol focuses on the contrast between two classes i.e. educated urban and uneducated rural. This film is a blend of both comedy as well as carries a social message; that how differences in thinking, life style and living standard of two persons from different classes impact their lives. Despite all these differences, that they are still together at the end proves that human values are far ahead of the differences in today's money minded and fast societies.

Happy Go Lucky is a story of three sisters who desire their life partners to be Inspector, Singer and a NRI. Coincidentally, when they speak of their desires, Bhalla who is the father of three sons stands by listening to them and thinking about his own sons who match all their desires. The girls' father initially is upset, and declines the match. But eventually the marriages take place.

Out of fear, they try to make him understand the risks involved there in and also, try to stop him. But, he is smart enough to have narrow escapes every time. Meanwhile, his wife faces pregnancy problems and danger to her life. Now, he realizes that he is at fault, feels sorry for his misdeeds and fix up his friend's home. But as Men will be Men, so will be our Kamineys.

The Movie story is based on A Generation Gap. This Movie tries to break the gap, keeping the old and new generation intact with there emotions and with there roots. City life and rural life intact. This movie is not revolving around Jatt Story / Revenge. This movie kept the cast away. The movie sured Jatts are not the only cast who are farmers and these Jatts have one dialogue in common, if they don't speak with each other, they don't either fight with each other.
