The film tells about the struggle between two men who are in love with the same woman. Ahmet and Aziz fish. They both fall in love with Mary, the nephew of the fisherman Veli. Mary's heart is also in Ahmet. However, his uncle Veli, who raised Mary, owes to Aziz's father. Aziz's father threatens Veli Reis to give Mary to his son. If he doesn't, he says he will seize his house and boat. Having learned this, Ahmet decides to pay the debt of Veli Reis. He starts fishing and saving money every day. However, Aziz will do his best to prevent Ahmet from making money.

Sultan Khan of Ottoman Empire has fallen in love with Princess Iren of Byzantium. When he asks her father Niktol for her hand he refuses and tries to kill Khan. The Sultan's armies then attack and overtake Constantinople (now renamed Istanbul). Niktol kills Princess Iren and flees with his army to the island of Lesbos. From Lesbos, Niktol launches a series of ruthless attacks on Turkish villages resulting in the death of one of the Sultan's guard's mother. The guard, Murat, is sent by the Sultan on a mission to avenge his mother's death and bring back the head of the man who killed Iren. Murat goes undercover in Lesbos posing as Royal Guard Kostas, seeking the killers.

Cazibe (Hale Soygazi) is a woman in her late thirties, who has never got married or had a relationship with a man in her life. She lives with her old mother (Suna Selen) and her uncle (Macit Koper) who feels an attraction towards her. The only thing which is private to her is her projector machine, which she keeps in a room at the roof of the house. Whenever she gets free time alone she goes to the room, sits on her rocking chair, switches on the projector and meets the boy she loved when she was at school, in her dreams. However, she believes that these are not dreams but that they are real, she really meets the boy whenever she switches on the projector. One day, a political criminal (one of her neighbors) come to their house at night to hide out. Cazibe thinks that he is the man in her dreams and makes love with him that night. The other day, the man leaves just with a note, and Cazibe loses her mind and starts to do strange things at home.

"Do Not Forget Me" - About Arzu and Bülent's stormy love. Arzu is the daughter of a upper class lawyer. Bülent is young and lack a proper job. Bülent is sentenced to three years in prison for attempting to murder Metin who caused his sister Gamze to commit suicide.

She is determined not to accept his marriage proposal unless he gives up his unlawful ways, an issue on which Murat won’t budge an inch. Cabbar, the casino owner, has Tarık, one of Murat’s men, out on a collection racket, killed. Murat makes up his mind to give up his unlawful way of making money. However, it’s not as easy as he thinks to shake off the mafia.
