The newly appointed deputy officer, a young, clever and ambitious man who has had professional training in the US, feels there is a link between the murders and Neslihan, but fails to find sufficient evidence. Neslihan keeps cooking the sheriff’s goose by playing the role of a slightly mad, quite innocent woman every time she’s about to be busted.

When Zuhal realises that she is the only one to have noticed any meowing and that she is slowly being seen by the others as the lonely “crazy cat-lady”, she decides to call a halt to her investigation in order to protect her reputation as a ”hard-working” and “well-educated” woman. But then, unexpectedly, things change...

Nilgün believes that chaos is related to blind habits and increases pressure on Sinan to adapt to the world of vision. This tension moves towards a tragic showdown, where they question each other's personalities. Just in this process, the doctor explains that if there is no second surgery, Sinan will be blind as before.
