Award-winning Southern gospel performers Bill and Gloria Gaither welcome friends to a picnic in this installment of their ongoing Homecoming series. Friendly conversation, games and, of course, plenty of music are all part of the fun. Nineteen songs include "Farther Along," "I Heard It First on the Radio," "What a Day That Will Be" and "He Pilots My Ship." Guests include Michael English, TaRanda Greene, the Booth Brothers, Jim Hill and more.
Christmas a Time for Joy
The styles are varied in this wonderful show, but the quality always high, with renditions of familiar classics along with a few original songs, with some numbers that are truly thrilling, among them the opening song, a bluegrass flavored "It's a Time for Joy" with Karen Peck and New River, the Gaither Vocal Band with David Phelps doing an exquisite tenor solo on "The Christmas Song" (and Mark Lowry doing Johnny Mathis !), "Children Go Where I Send Thee" with The Bishops giving us harmonies from heaven, the country rockin' sound of "Go Tell" with The Martins, and best of all, "Mary, Did You Know ?" (music and lyrics by Mark Lowry and Buddy Green), sung by the Gaither Vocal Band featuring an emotionally stirring solo by Mark Lowry. The words, melody, and interpretation of this song fills my eyes with tears when I hear it...the disc is worth it for this number alone. -Alejandra Vernon
Irish Homecoming
This live concert, recorded at Whitewell Metropolitan Tabernacle in Belfast, is spiced with Celtic sounds. Joy Gardner is joined by an Irish choir on "The Promise" while Larry Ford, who has developed a following in Ireland in recent years, performs "What A Friend We Have In Jesus." Anthony Burger offers a dazzling piano solo on "Holy, Holy, Holy." Russ Taff moves close to the audience to sing "Ain't No Grave" and the Gaither Vocal Band raises the roof on "It Is Finished."

Gaither Gospel Series: Filmed at the Gaither studios in Indiana. Maybe it's the sweet harmonica of Buddy Greene and the vocals of Jessy Dixon and Bob Cain on "Leaning On The Everlasting Arms" or a "senior quartet" which features a 93-year-old surprise guest. Mark Lowry: On Broadway
Mark Lowry: On Broadway is the first new comedy project from Christian music's favorite funny-man in over four years. Mark lives his dream and plays the headliner on Broadway at the Beacon Theatre in New York City, where this live performance is captured.
