Most Slayer fans still hold up their album REIGN IN BLOOD as the band's true masterpiece. So when it came to recording a visual document of the band - entitled STILL REIGNING - the band turned to its 1986 record for inspiration. With the original line up intact, the band takes to a stage decorated in exactly the same style as their 1980s tour, and work their way through the album. The punishing intensity of their playing hasn't let up over the years, and the group members clearly delight in playing some classic material. With the REIGN IN BLOOD album performed in its entirety, tracks such as "Angel of Death", "Criminally Insane" and "Jesus Saves" come to life once again. As an added bonus, Slayer also performs a selection of other classics, including "South of Heaven", "War Ensemble" and "Mandatory Suicide". As the group exits with blood-like rain falling on them, there can be no doubt that they have entered the pantheon of classic metal bands.

Recorded on May 1, 2006 at Kentish Town Forum, Live from London 2006 features the amassed crew of Mike Patton, Buzz Osborne, Dave Lombardo, Trevor Dunn, Dale Crover and Sir David Scott Stone. Filmed by Douglas Pledger, Matthew Rozeik and Alex Gunnis the music is culled from the sole Fantômas / Melvins Big Band release (Millennium Monsterwork) as well as music from both the Melvins and Fantômas catalogues. Bonus feature is an audio commentary with Danny DeVito, Ipecac co-owner Greg Werckman, booking agent Robby Fraser, Melvins' Dale Crover and Buzz Osborne.

Combat Tour Live: The Ultimate Revenge
To say THE ULTIMATE REVENGE is dated 22 years after it was released would be an understatement. The effects that Combat used in the video are pretty cheesy (slow-motion, still photo, going back & forth between the video negative & the developed shot, etc). It would have been better to just show the raw footage. Still, to a certain extent, THE ULTIMATE REVENGE does document the growing interest in thrash metal that was taking place at the time. Combat Records decided to showcase their three biggest acts, Slayer, Venom & Exodus. All three had released new or debut albums when the video was shot. Concert footage recorded at Studio 54 in New York. Witching Hour is taken from the Live Video EP from 1982. Countess Bathory is from The 7th Date of Hell video from '84. An interview with Venom exclusive to this release is included.
