Goblynch has banned work for all Santas and confined the Christmas angels to tiny prison cells, where they can no longer hear the dearest wishes of children. Goblynch also wants to force Santa Niklas Goodfellow, the last real Santa, to work for his commercialized Christmas company and forces him to do hard labour in the ordering department of the Christmas Palace.

Ecki now has two problems – turning this bunch into a team, and facing his own fears regarding his first romance.

Under the auspicious name "Magical Mystery" the Berlin techno label BummBumm Records wants to go on a rave tour. Karl Schmidt aka Charly himself was once an aspiring artist on the scene, until he retired after a nervous breakdown five years ago. Since then he lives in a supervised withdrawal WG in Hamburg. Now, as a driver and custodian for the party-loving DJs and their producers, he becomes part of "Magical Mystery", trying to lead a self-determined life after years of patronizing and well-intentioned advice.

Das alte Pferd Mississippi ist Teil seines Nachlasses, das er an den Schlachter Pit loszuwerden versucht, wovon ihn Emma nur durch ein höheres Gebot abhalten kann. Kurze Zeit später taucht Gansmann wieder auf und will Mississippi für 500 Euro zurückhaben. Sofort ist klar, dass dafür niemals reine Pferdeliebe der Grund sein kann. Nachdem Emma und ihre Freunde schließlich Albert Gansmanns Geheimnis aufgedeckt haben, schreckt dieser nicht einmal vor einer Entführung zurück.
