A group of women, who have always been good friends, are going through tough times: not only criticize each other and make life impossible, but also their love relationships are very poor. They will have to put everything in their power to get through this difficult time.

This movie has any coherent plot. It is more the portrait of the lives of different people in the hard years of post-war in Spain (the 40's), and how people manage to survive in a country desolated by the war. Like other films: la colmena or roma (fellini) it shows us lots of characters and some moments of their lives.

Joselito is the son of Colonel José de Alvear, Earl of Almond. When his heroic father dies in the colonies, the victim of a cholera epidemic, the child is held by her guardian and executor, his uncle Martin, who wants to take his fortune.

Paquita and her brother Venancio, both single and childish, live in a small town near Madrid. Their bossy eldest sister Ignacia, also an old maid, dominates them. One night, Paquita hears her sister tell somebody about her intention to sell all the family wealth. Once the money is gathered, she wishes to travel to Paris with the mysterious person and get rid of her brother and sister.

Young couple Samuel and Eva move to Madrid and start living together when he finds work as a photographer. Although Samuel doesn't knows, Eva's expecting a baby.

In a sector of Madrid inhabited by families of a well-off class, a gang of boys and girls has continuous fun, sleep and drink, while their parents ignore practically everything. However, each of these young people has, to a greater or lesser degree, a problem. The parties and parties enjoyed by a group of young people from the upper class are the basis of the story that explains this film. Among them we find the famous couple, once happy, formed by Carlos Larrañaga and María Luisa Merlo. Directed by Fernando Palacios, and with a script by Rafael J. Salvia and Pedro Masó, " It's always Sunday " has no greater intention than entertainment, despite giving history a certain sociological touch, for that of valuing the behavior of the Youth of the time.

Revolution in Spain, around the events of 2 May 1808, when the people of Madrid rise up in rebellion against French occupation.

Carlos a young man who lives in the suburbs of the big city has ambitions and wants to change his life. Influenced by friends of doubtful moral character, habituated to frequent harmful environments. Little by little, he begins to see himself doomed to crime and one day he abandons his girlfriend, María, for Isabel, an attractive and intelligent woman who plays with him and takes him wherever he wants. When Carlos, once he has committed a robbery, realizes the nature of Isabel and his friends, and that he will never be happy in that environment, he tries to go back, but the violence of the facts will lead him to a bloodthirsty outcome.

"Escuela de seducción" is an acceptable comedy which deals, for the umpteenth time, with the war of the sexes using misunderstandings and fake personalities as dramatic resources. The premise is by no means original, but this is something most films lack nowadays, and therefore the result could have been more than acceptable.
