Paadha Kaanikkai (English: Offering to the feet) is a 1962 Tamil-language drama film directed by K. Shankar. The film features Gemini Ganesan, Savitri, M. R. Radha and Kamal Haasan in lead roles. The film, produced by G. N. Velumani, had musical score by Viswanathan–Ramamoorthy and was released on 28 September 1962.

Pachai Vilakku (English: Green Lantern) is a 1964 Indian Tamil film, directed by A. Bhim Singh and produced by Rama. Arangannal, A. R. Hassan Khan and T. S. Aadhi Narayanan. The film stars Sivaji Ganesan, C. R. Vijayakumari, S. S. Rajendran and S. V. Ranga Rao in lead roles. The film had musical score by Viswanathan–Ramamoorthy.

Vanjikkottai Valiban is a 1958 Indian Tamil-language romance film written by Gemini Studios story department consisting of K. J. Mahadevan, C. Srinivasan and Kothamangalam Subbu while the film was directed and produced by S. S. Vasan. It stars Gemini Ganesan and Vyjayanthimala in lead with Padmini, P.S. Veerappa, T. K. Shanmugam, Pasupuleti Kannamba, Vijayakumari, K. A. Thangavelu and M. S. Sundari Bai as the ensemble cast of the film.

Kumaran, who is married to Kumudha, takes the blame for a murder he did not commit. Convinced of his innocence, his former lover sets out to unearth the truth, which involves Kumaran's brother-in-law.

Saradha, a wealthy woman, marries an ordinary professor against the wishes of her father. Her dream of leading a happily married life is shattered when her husband meets with an accident.

Baskar and Vasanthi are college-mates. A naughty girl creates misunderstanding between them, and an enraged Vasanthi complains to the college dean, who immediately dismisses Baskar. Gopal was from a middle-class family and lived with his mother Sharadha (Vijayakumari) and his mentally ill sister (Vinodhini). He fell in love with, a rich city girl, Gayathri and he got married with her. Gayathri had often quarrels with Gopal because he was not rich. Finally, Gayathri removed her thaali and applied for the divorce. Heartbroken, Sharadha died of a heart attack. Gopal proceeded for his mother's cremation. Angry, he ran with a stick in fire and he discovered Gayathri in fire at her house.Tamilarasi decides at any price to save Gopal before his death.
