Torn between reuniting with one family and leaving another behind, Doel must choose between the two women he loves.

Renny Basuki is a young woman and a former judo champion who, after her father's demise, tries to look after her impoverished family. When her younger brother is diagnosed with a deadly disease, she is desperate to afford his surgery costs. One day, Indra, a professional wrestling manager, offers Renny and her friend Mia to join a female wrestling troupe. They agree but Renny's mother disapproves her wrestling career.

The major success achieved by dangdut musician, Rhoma Irama, makes his siblings, Deddy and Herry, want to follow their brother’s footsteps. Coincidentally, the two brothers have twin girlfriends, Ela and Eli. The love of the two couples is so deep that when the parents of Ela and Eli want to match one of the twins to another man, they refuse. For Deddy, the challenge does not only come from Eli’s parents, but also from someone attracted to Eli. It hurts Deddy to witness Herry holding the hand of his girlfriend, Eli. Then Rhoma steps in to resolve the problem of his brothers.

Ronny is dating Lia, a new student in his school. Apparently, Lia is the daughter of Indrasukma, brother of Sandra, who is the wife of Nico, Ronny’s brother. Lia lives at Ronny’s house. But Indro also falls for Susy, but in the end, none of them wins her heart.

So she goes to Jakarta and finds Oma in the middle of persuading his singing partner, Shanty, who is sulking, to finish a recording. Suspicious and jealous, Ani goes straight home and decides to marry Dana. Oma is shocked to receive the invitation. He goes home and the root of the problem is uncovered.

The quasi-skilled Kasino tries to install an abstract painting on the wall of Mr. Us Us’ house where he stays. The plaster wall is damaged. Afraid of Mr. Us Us’ wrath, Kasino, Dono, Indro, Marina, and Anita try to lie to Mr. Us Us but he finds out. They are scolded and ordered to repair the wall at once. The comedy continues with the arrival of Dono’s grandfather from the village. Dono has lied to his grandfather that he has become a doctor, but the latter knows his bad habits. Then Anita wants to test her boyfriend’s love, and asks Dono to pretend to be her boyfriend during a party. Unfortunately, Dono’s silly acts annoy Anita. When Indro’s food recipe is entered for a competition, which allows only women, Dono is forced to dress like a woman. Dono wins the competition but the prize is anulled once Dono’s identity is discovered. Dono protests by asking to take home the competition food. The committee refuses and a cake-throwing war ensues.

Rhoma and Rika have a steady relationship. But it is hard for Rika to refuse her father’s request for her to study abroad. Rika and her best friend, Ani, both hide each other’s respective boyfriends as Ani had a bad relationship experience in the past. Through Poppy and her boyfriend, Hasan, Elina meets Abdullah and becomes his lover. Then Elina starts to lead a wayward life. Her older sister, Tuty, tries to stop her but Elina chooses to continue her relationship and gets married. Then Tuty's warning comes true, as Abdullah is irresponsible. After Elina gets a divorce, she tries to find Tuty again but fails. But in the end, the two siblings manage to reunite.

Sinta's father is dying. On his insistence, Sinta has to marry Roni, though she actually prefers Ricky. Initially, Sinta is grateful to have a husband who is willing to sacrifice for her father's hospital treatment. But Roni turns out to be a pimp, and Sinta is used and sold as a call girl aka “gadis telepon”. The situation becomes intolerable, when Roni's secret is revealed, that he has compromised other girls like Sinta. Sinta stabs her husband. Sinta repents her action in prison.

One unfortunate day, she is caught in a police raid. In front of the police, Betty admits to her mistakes. Even more unfortunate, her employer’s business also goes bankrupt.

Reminiscent of the film The Sound of Music, Bing Slamet works for Eddy Sud’s family, who has many children. Bing wins their heart with his singing talent. The movie is filled with messages of tourism promotion and family planning, but there is also humour, since the Kwartet Jaya comedy group are part of the cast.
